What are possible reasons for this feeling in my arm?

When I’m relaxed (most of the time at school) sometimes I’ll get this odd feeling in my arm. It’s hard to describe, but it’s a dull pain, but not really painful. It’s more or less just kind of there. Kind of like if you squish the big vain really hard on the side of your arm closer to your body. It feels like if I were to punch something or jolt it really hard or even tear it open it would feel better. It also happened once in my legs. It’s always both arms and it’s hard to ignore. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to go away and the time it takes relates to how much I move my arms. Any ideas what this may be a symptom of? Maybe high blood pressure comes to mind?

Also I know it’s coming when I get really tired in the middle of the day and can’t shake it.

If you are under 18 it could be growing pains.
I was kind of hoping that, but none of my friends experience that. I’ve asked. Also I don’t know if it’s related, but I have very slow healing and a high tendency to loose the feeling in my hands and feet and a slow pulse. 50–70 at rest.
@bluejay Is it 50 or 70? that is a huge difference if you are talking about the same time of day when you check it. 50 first thing in the morning while your still lying down from sleeping wouldnot concern me, 50 in the middle of the day sitting up would seem fairly low.
Are you thristy all the time? Slow healing can be diabetes.
Are you a girl or a boy? How old?
Blood pressure would not cause pain. Although if your pulse tends to jump around it would notbe a bad idea to get your blood pressure checked. Do you ever feel dizzy?
Sometimes it’s as low as 50 and sometimes up to 70 while I’m sitting up during class.. My thirst is kind of complicated… I hardly ever have the desire or need to drink water threw the days except when I exercise heavily. Once every 1–3 months I drink a crazy amount of water in a few days time period. I’m almost 15 and I’m a girl. I’m always getting dizzy and blurred vision. Sometimes I even go into this trance like state. It’s like I’m about to start getting dizzy but I don’t and I can see and hear everything to an extreme but I have a fixed stare that I can’t let go of. If I don’t get out of it things start to slowly turn black. I almost blacked out once at the dentists during that kind of trance.
I just got my physical and my blood pressure was normal so that crosses that off the list.
You really don’t pay attention to our answers fully do you? What gender and age are you?
@XOIIO She said 15 and a girl.
@bluejay I think youy should get your thyroid checked. Do you eat regularly? 3–5 meals a day? Do you get enough sleep? 8–10 hours a day?
Yeah I eat regularly and I sleep 8 hours on weekdays and 9–12 hours on weekends.
15 you are still going through a lot of crazy changes in your body, could be something you just grow out of in the end. Hard to know out here in internet land obviously. Hopefully you feel better soon. Unfortunately in medicine, many times we have to get much sicker for the doctors to figure something out. Luckily many times things get better on their own.
You still might check your thyroid next time with the dizziness, and your iron level. Do you go out in the sun and get a tan? If you always protect yourself from the sun with suntan lotion, you might test your vitamin D also.
And that, ladies nd gentleman, is why you don’t Fluther right before you are about to fall asleep.
Like I thought, it’s probably just growing pains for the arm thing.
I get plenty of vitamin D all day every day and no sunblock unless I go to the beach. I looked at symptoms of iron deficiency though and I fit those symptoms and I looked at food with iron and hardly eat anything on that list. Maybe I should start!
