Why youtube shows black screen on Mac?

Youtube worked fine but suddenly I have a black screen and no sound. What could be the cause for this?

Apparently logging out of YouTube restores everything.

Try switching the HTTP in the address bar to HTTPS. – Apparently this solution solved everyones problems on one thread that I read. =)

Most likely a problem with Flash. Try re-installing it. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If that doesn’t work get Chrome and see if it works in that.
