What can you tell me about early hominid discoveries?

Asked by whitetigress (3129points) November 17th, 2011

I’ve got me a test tomorrow! Let’s see if there is anything I’m forgetting. Things I need to know is location of discoveries, and who discovered them.

@whitetigress If I remember correctly Y5 refers to a pattern unique to hominid teeth. Since teeth are more resilient than other bones they will survive longer than everything else. The pattern is significant because even when you don’t have any other part of the creature with those teeth you can tell if it was a hominid or not.

But I guess your teacher/prof hasn’t talked about that yet.
