Is anyone else annoyed CBS does not just go ahead and schedule 60 minutes a half an hour later?

Asked by JLeslie (65746points) November 20th, 2011

Or, a full hour later.

It doesn’t start on time the majority of the year. Why don’t they schedule some sort of after the game is over sports thing that lasts as long as necessary to make it to the 6:30 mark if the game ends on time. Or, schedule a repeat of something, and no one cares if it doesn’t get shown.

There has to be a better way. What would you suggest?

I recommend just showing historical Packers highlights and great moments until the hour.

I’m a fan of the AFC, 60 Minutes and The Amazing Race.

My DVR feels your pain.

Rename it to 30 minutes.

Yeah, it is annoying.

It does seem like a no-brainer, doesn’t it? Don’t schedule original programming immediately after games.

Move to the Left Coast.

@filmfann Funny, when I was younger I wished I lived in central time, so I could watch my favorite 10:00 shows and not be exhausted waking for school in the morning. Now with DVR it is less of an issue obviously. I actually do live in Central Time now.
