Five and something years ago - Ben and Andrew started something special - and here we are - can we pause for a moment to say "thanks"?

For me, it’s a free and easy way to socially interact with people I respect – without leaving my home.
Thanks guys.

Sure! Thanks, Ben and Andrew! I joined Fluther after you left for other projects, but I wish you were still around to add your personalities to your creation…
I am more than happy to salute the founders and say thanks! Especially for leaving Fluther up and running!
Thank you Ben and Andrew!
I’ve heard of Ben and Jerry, but don’t really know the story of Ben and Andrew. However, if they started Fluther, I salute them!

I’m happy for them, Fluther was a great stepping stone for their future, and I’m thankful they left the Fluther legacy behind for the rest of us.
Ah, Bendrew…the things that men do when we’re bored and alone. To chat and to share with jellies that care, and all from the comfort of home.
Thanks a heap Bendrew.
What a great idea, so much better than Twitter. Tapadh leibh
Thank you. You created a very strange little oasis on the internet.
Sure do appreciate it, guys!
It was awesome hearing from Ben a few weeks back. Like old times!
Also the return of Count Jelly…. that was awesome!
I just hope… and have been SOOOO GOOD…. that Jelly-Claus will be back soon!
:D
^He will, he will, oh I just know he will!
Thanks for creating such a wonderful community! Too bad you guys can’t be around more, we miss you!! :-(
<<pause>> “Thanks, guys!”
Many, many thanks for such a wonderful place! And thank you to both of you for your help when I was having trouble getting onto Fluther at home a couple of years ago. After emails with Ben and a phone call with Andrew, I finally got to stay here. :) Thanks, guys!
Thanks Ben and Andrew! You might have started with a vision but you ended up with a very alive organism!
Would I be churlish for feeling like a child whose fathers went out for milk and cigarettes one night and never came home?
I’ve had a good time over the years, so a sincere thank you!
@gailcalled : Thanks for that greeting…my french is poor but let’s have a party/good time? I am all for it. Although it seems I may breach that damned 10k plateau and you know how I hate those parties. I thought about closing my account before that happens but I’ve gotten some nice notes since coming back so I may have to “eat it”. Milo is well I trust? And you?
Thanks B&A! This site is terrific!
Many thanks, guys. For everything.
Thanks Bendrew! Great site!
Great idea @zensky!
Thank you Ben&Andrew, you created me a home from home :-)
Many thanks for creating my favorite patch of internet. Many thanks to the mods for keeping it clean :)
Thank you Ben, Andrew and Augustlan and the other Mods. Much appreciated!
Your’re welcome, everyone! It’s been our pleasure. Thanks for being the best community ever.
Seriously you two—thanks so much for creating something that’s had such a profound effect on my life. I never would have imagined walking into La Taza the path I would end up sharing with you and everyone else on here!
So, tell us. What’s happening at that other place?
@timtrueman! @ben! It is like Christmas having you back even just for this thread!
Thank YOU all. It’s still great to see an amazing conversation and thoughtful questions here.
@timtrueman That’s really, really touching. Thank you.
@gailcalled We just launched a major redesign of the site. Both Ben and I are working on the Growth team making Twitter more understandable and accessible to the general public. Now would be a good time to try it out—if only for the familiar face you’ll see when you sign up.
As for me most recently, I created fly.twitter.com with the help of some of the most talented people in the world.
Still no Hebrew. Just saying.
Well @Andrew, can you now make a mechanism to archive Twitter keyword searches and #! Sighs (watches research fly out the window on the wings of a Twatt… sorry Twapperkeeper).
