Is there a way to get around the Captcha requirement?

Asked by AshlynM (10684points) December 3rd, 2011

Like on some sites when you sign up, they require you to in put a series of letters and numbers to ensure you’re not a robot. And Youtube, after a certain time, you’re required to do Captcha before posting a comment.

But does this really work? Can bots input these numbers?

They can’t, thats the point.

No. And the auditory alternatives (where you have to listen to a sound clip) are even harder to figure out, which makes captcha really suck for people with disabilities.

Some programs can use captcha trading mechanisms, but they still do need human input, just not your input.
