I hear all of these nightmare stories about vista themes for XP – has anyone found a good one??

the best way to do it is the latest versions of windows blinds http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ which allows transparency that XP doesn’t otherwise support, and you’ll be able to find plenty vista themes at say wincustomize.com

Otherwise, there is a theme hack that you can do (I just did it on my vista laptop right here), which allows me to change the theme without having any external programs running, but actually does it natively.

Just remember though, windows blinds will have a slight affect on the speed of your machine (not much, but some)

Google “Vista Transformation Pack”. It does a pretty good job. And it didn’t mess up my puter.
