A realistic fighting game?
What’s the best realistic fighting game on the market? Something based on real hand-to-hand systems with no, fireballs/“hyDOOken!”/magic/“sonic boom!” etc etc. I’m looking for something with say, Krav Maga vs. Muy Thai.. that kind of thing.

I don’t know for sure, but I think that Virtua Fighter doesn’t have all that magic/special power stuff. U might also want to try the UFC games, even though I heard they suck.
Bushido Blade 1 and 2 for the Playstation was sweet. The game is based on combat with swords though. In my opinion it was the best fighting game ever created. NO fireballs or super button mashing combinations. Rounds were pretty quick since most hits were one hit kills.
yeah, and that mode where you fought all the enemies one after another, and you could get your arms or legs damaged, just didn’t know there was a part 2, wicked
uhm, yeah, Virtua fighter, fight night might be a good one, oh, dead or alive, you name it
Yeah, I forgot about Bushido Blade. That game was awesome. I also forgot about DOA.
Fight night round 3 is amazing. I was hooked straight away and if I hadn’t sold it I would regularly go back to it all the time :)
It is boxing though, so no kicking or like ‘special’ moves really.
But you can pick it up pretty cheaply now :)
the original dead or alive was wonderful so maybe a more recent game would be better. But also you might want to look at a mortal combat game, I don’t think they have majic…
no, they just have sub zero using ice blasts, raiden teleporting, etc etc….
yeah, Mortal Kombat is like the least realistic fighting game.
