Do most men really have a "need" for Viagra?

I am almost 68 years old and have never had a “need” for Viagra. Are most elderly men not capable of sustaining the strength to satisfy a woman in the same situation as myself? Are the Viagra commercials really serving a purpose or is it just about the money and Viagra attempting to convince older men that they “need” Viagra, when its not necessary>
