Somehow I think Steve Jobs said it, but I’m not sure. I’d like to give credit where credit is due.

I don’t think anyone said it.
“Failure is not an option” was attributed to Gene Hranz of the Apollo space program, but he did not say it. Bill Broy;es, the script writer for the movie Apollo 13 came up with it after interviewing Flight Controller Jerry Bostick, who said a version of it. Wikipedia
As for the path to success part:
“One who fears failure limits his activities. Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again.” Henry Ford
There is a Japanese saying that failure teaches success. If failure is the path to success, why do so many fear failing?”

Personally speaking, I think failure is the key to success. When my former husband left me for a young woman, I felt failure. But, I figured out a way to make a good living, set up my own business that allowed me to be home for my children when they came home from school, even though I hadn’t worked before and was a stay at home mom. By the way, after he went on to his fourth wife, I realized I wasn’t the failure. : )
I can’t find that exact quote, but did find this one that resembles it:
Failure is not an option- because it doesn’t exist. Failure is just one critical step on the path to success. You can start over any time you choose, no matter what mistakes you made in the past. You can change anything with a new attitude and new mindset. Winners know that it’s the comeback that counts.
