What is the focus of your paper. A general overview? The thesis statement would be different if you were focusing on his art. Some details would be helpful.

@JP; Whose art? Or, who’s Art?
@Ice; if you are planning to write a thesis, it is different than an essay. Either way the Holocaust is as broad a topic as you might want. Google and see the millions of hits. You have to narrow it down, and I believe that that is your decision and will, of course, lead to a thesis statement.
Start with what you want to point out about the Holocaust or the aspects of it that you think are most thought-provoking.
Are you concerned that humans may forget this tragedy especially with the time coming when there will be no living witnesses (survivors and soldiers from WWII)?
Are you struck by the indomitable human spirit that carried on in these most inhuman conditions?
Do you want to explore the flawed concept of a race purity?
What you need is a point of view—it needs to be your own and one that you can supply supporting evidence for.
its over bascially the concentration camps but other things to and imknow how to write one I just can’t think of a good one
So, list for us: 1. the concentration camps
2. the other things
Tell us what makes you want to include these topics rather than others
you want to leave out.
Then we’ll go forward.
Could you make them sound more eighth gradish
