NSFW (because I am careful)- Is it more of a character flaw to be an adult worker or to pay another for adult work?

A question from another user reminded me to ask this:

I got into a conversation with an adult dancer awhile back about how embarrassed she would be if someone she knew walked into the bar. I was of the opinion, as long as we are talking about it, that I would be really embarrassed if a stripper recognized me from my normal life, there paying to look at nude girls.

If you have an opinion, which person in these situations should be ashamed? Both, neither?
