For those of you who bake a lot for the holidays: when do you start?
I think that most families have one or two people that do loads of baking for the holidays. Usually, in my family, my mother does all of the tarts and rolls, and I’ve done all of the cookies for the last 6 years. A few years ago I was working at a little bakery, and I made enough cookies to rival her business. It’s a lot of cookies.
I never freeze my dough (or my cookies), so it usually ends up being cookie baking mania around here for about a week before Christmas.
When do you start your baking? What do you make? How do you store it?
