Do they ever print the Bible on regular paper?

I know that they use the woodfree, uncoated Bible paper to keep the book thinner, but are there Bibles out there which have been printed on regular paper? Does anyone know where the tradition comes from?

I got one that was in a binder once where you could take the pages out and copy them. It was on regular paper. It was pretty thick though.
This doesn’t answer your question, but I thought it an interesting bit of fun info, and slightly relevant.
The King James Bible can be found in its entirety on the Nintendo Game Boy. It has some small and simple puzzle games, usually dealing with words, but the fact remains, the whole Bible can be read on a video game cartridge. It’s all there.
It’s extremely rare though, and a must get for obscure video game collectors. It was made by Wisdom Tree, which I believe is unofficial, so that plays a great part in why the game is hard to find, even back when it was made and released.
