What are examples for cool female costumes?
There is a costume party held in my school in less than a week from now and there is a competition for the best costume. And I wanted some ideas of cool costumes whose parts can be gathered in a short time and look good enough to win the competition.
It would be nice too if you tell me the idea and the clothes needed.
Thanks in advance :D

Is there a theme or can it be any type of costume? You could always go as Pikachu.
You could be Pac man just get some big boxes and yellow paint and some string or something to attach it over your shoulders. It would be fun to get a load of mates and get people to dress up as the little monster things too. (I know its not that girly but it would be fun to co-ordinate all of your costumes)
Or a Jellyfish Get a lacy dress, umbrella and some ribbons etc. You can be pretty with this one wearing a nice pretty (but must be plain coloured) dress but the umbrella is the main bell part of the jelly fish. This one is in white but it will also work in red. Works best with a plastic umbrella.
Or go as a Butterfly Use a kite (this one is probably too big as it has a span of 2m. Wear a simple dress and stitch the kite onto a cardigan or something along the sleeves to be a butterfly when you streach out your arms. add some antennas and some false eyelashes to get that fluttering and there you have it. A homemade butterfly costume.
Carol Burnett did a cool impression of Scarlet O’Hara, complete with curtain rod. (That’s so going over everyone’s head)
I need to know your age before I can answer this please.
@ragingloli Carol Burnett had a variety TV show on long ago. She did an impression of Scatlet O’hara, a charecter from the movie Gone With The Wind. In the movie Scarlett grabbed an expensive curtain to wear as a gown for Rhett Butler, a handsome stud. Carol did the same but also got the curtain rod caught in the dress.
Go in drag—the best male costumes I’ve seen were often donned by women, i.e.—Jack Sparrow, Lucius Malfoy, Qui-gon Jinn, the Highlander, Legolas. Most things for these costumes can be found or slightly modified from items at a thrift store.
what do you think about vampires?? :P
@gailcalled nice, then what do you think I should do?? I can buy the teeth but how else can I make it obvious that I am wearing a vampire’s costume? hmmm.. the possibility of finding a good dress may not be that achievable in this little amount of time… any ideas?
Dye your hair black. Use corn syrup and red food coloring for blood, glue on fake nails and wear black clothing that you can cut up a little. Anything in your family’s dress-up box?
(Do you know what “sanguine” means?)
kinda like optimistic :D just take it easy on me :P
btw thanx for the extra info about the vampire costume
Uhm.. just out of curiosity are you a vampire fan or not? :D
Um, no.
“Sanguine” has two definitions, one of which is “bloody,” so I was making a pun.
Since you say you are interested in the meanings of words and increasing your vocabulary, I think we should definitely not take it easy on you.
GLaDOS.
But it might get uncomfortable hanging by your feet from the ceiling while swaying back and forth after a while. And people are going to get annoyed after you threaten to gas them with neurotoxin for the umpteenth time.
@HungryGuy
That is why you release actual neuro toxin right after the first threat.
need to eat a lot of beans first though
