I just linked to this song on my facebook page. If I could get it to freeze, I would freeze and skate away on the mighty Waikato river. I would meet my lover for lunch and dinner.
I’m pretty sure the Merced River that runs through Yosemite freezes over during the winter, but it’s probably not suitable for skating upon, but it sure would be beautiful to skate through Yosemite valley. See what I mean
I would skate away on the thin ice of a new day.
I would skate along the Hawkesbury River in N.S.W. I have always wanted to float along that river on a houseboat. It is so big and beautiful. I imagine what it must have been like for the first humans who encountered it.
To a land of dread, where even the angels would not dare to tread. And such, I would be at peace.
Unfortunately, I don’t know how to skate.
Flat on my arse, because I can’t skate to save my life :¬(
