Did you accomplish the dreams you had in life?
I’m still young, and I am taking the big steps for my major goals in life… I was wondering if dreams always do come true if they are pursued well. Did you have a strong dream that you had to accomplish or you wouldn’t be complete? What was it and did you do it?

Can’t tell yet, my life isn’t over yet.
So far I have everything I ever wanted, but I have paid some pretty heavy prices along the way
I always wanted to get married. And I did after comitting myself fully, making a lot of sacrifices and with the help of luck. Writing a bestseller, conquering the world whilst flying away on a pig named Pippa and shooting laserbeams out of my hands are next.
That’s what I like about dreams, they can’t always come true and it depends on how realistic they are to begin with.
After my police career, I wanted to go back into the music business. But, due to four back surgeries, that dream will never come true.
All I can do is dream about it.
Some of them, but not all.
I went through a difficult childhood and I dreamed of having a better life and came to realize I had to create what is. So, I surrounded myself with positive people, forged ahead and never looked back. Believe and you’ll achieve as the saying goes, and also surround yourself with positive upbeat and encouraging people.
Still a work in progress.
yes and now i’m accomplishing dreams i never even knew i had
Successful and happy marriage- check.
See interesting parts of the world- check (but more to come).
See my two sons graduate from university and get rewarding jobs- check.
Translate my career from medical imaging into academia-check.
Finish my PhD- not yet, but progressing well. Give me about 2.5 more years for that one.
Retire to the country- In about 18 years, I think.
All of the above are important to me, and I think the percentage of achievement is not bad. I guess a combination of hard work and good luck has helped.
I had dreams when I was younger, but they faded away. I don’t really have dreams now, but I’m content enough with what I do have.
Not yet but I’m only at the halfway point.
