Where can one buy physical copper and other cheap metal ingots in Canada?

Asked by talljasperman (21919points) December 23rd, 2011

I’m looking for the cheapest non-toxic metal, that is in ingot form (doesn’t have to be copper, If I can find something cheaper like lead then great)? Where I can buy small amounts of cheap non-scrap metal to be delivered to Alberta, Canada that doesn’t have high shipping and processing charges? I’m thinking of $100.00 worth at a time…I don’t want collectors coins.

Lead is non-toxic? Anyway, have you tried metal scrappers? Once the metal is scrapped and melted down, they must press it at some point for resale. If you’re looking for pure metal, a scientific supply house would be your best bet.
