Where's a good place to stay in Maui?
Am looking for a great place for singles, on the beach, & not overrun with kids & families but not too expensive

I would definitely say Kaanapali Beach. It's just about 5 minutes North of Lahaina. There are a ton of Hotels and bars and restaurants and lots of kid friendly activity as well. There is also snorkeling right off the beach at black rock. The water is pretty tame and you can always find a great spot on the sand. I used to work at a restaurant there called Leilani's. Great food!
I agree. Make sure you partake in the road to HANA. Rent a mustang or better and enjoy the curves.
Depends on your budget, but if money is no object then definitely the Grand Wailea Resort. I still have dreams about it.
