How is this different from the last question you asked about Viagra?
I think I’m a prude and too old for Fluther in some instances, judging by some of the questions I see in today’s posts. Oh well!
Viagra? No.
I’ve never had impotence and I hope never to get it again.
36, nonsmoker, regular runner, generally healthy. Still get an erection when the wind shifts direction. I’ve tried viagra but only for the sexcapades.
“Late middle age” – no hydraulic problems.
I’ve been tempted by curiosity to try Viagra, but it’s so damned expensive I haven’t yet…
I think my brain is getting slow. My first thought was, “How would I know?” Then I realized to whom the question was addressed. I think this is too personal a topic to be asked publicly.
Ask your friends.
I’m 55. I don’t need it. I have never had hydraulic issues, although I have had psychological issues. If my cock don’t rise, it’s because I don’t really want to be doing this at the time. My head is not in the game, so to speak. My cock may not stay totally hard the whole time. It goes up and down. But it always responds to the touch of my lady’s lips, no matter how long we have been going on for, so long as I am still into her, emotionally speaking.
I don’t see why this should be a personal question. This is exactly the kind of thing guys need to share information about in a place where they aren’t going to get teased for it.
DH tried Cialis a few times; his doctor gave him some b/c he(dr) couldn’t/wouldn’t believe that BP meds weren’t causing trouble. It worked, it was nice, we didn’t feel the need to continue with it as everything still works without it. (We are mid 50s.) So, need it? No.
@nikipedia the last question asked how many men need viagra, this one asks how many don’t need it!:-D
Got some (from the doctor) some years ago, but never used any.
The flaccidity was due to psychological issues but when me and my girlfriend were together again (we have a long-distance-relationship) we solved it ourselves.
My girlfriend was also afraid that a blue pill would kill me (heart attack).
Still have them though, but they’ll probably be over the expiration date.
So in twenty years I will get some new…
I’ve thought about trying it on a recreational basis, but I have zero need for it. Why try to fix what isn’t broken?
@AstroChuck – I lurve your answer and have missed your smart ass remarks (even though we once again have wundy’s chic and smart ass back again!) Please don’t stay away for such long periods of time!
I have never been with a man who used it (at least not that I was aware of) but we must take into consideration I have not been out and about since I was in my early 50’s and with men of a similar age. I assumed it was a problem that would more than likely appear in a much older group, unless of course it was caused by psychological rather than physiological reasons.
Attention Ladies: I do not need it.
:D
At 20, I better not need that shit :)
Though sometimes I feel like I need a pill with the opposite effect..
Too personal! But, I think now that Twitter bought Fluther last Tuesday, the site questions might be better moderated.
Wrong date. That news about Twitter was from 2010. Oh well! I guess this kind of talk will continue. I’m just a wee bit too old for it.
No need here but I am only 35.
@Ayesha Well if I said “Attention Men” it would have been inaccurate ;)
