I’ve done a 3 mile hike, but there’s a 7 mile hike I want to try out.
I’m going to try to be a better friend. I’m really bad about staying in touch with people, so I’m going to make more of an effort. Happy new year, everyone!
I hope to make it till the end of the world on 12/21/12. Keeping my fingers crossed. I expect great photo ops that day!
Realeyes..uh, that’s not real..
As long as some folks thinggggk it’s real, then I’m sure to have plenty of photo ops that day.
I want to lose a little weight and add some extra muscle to my shoulders and thighs, to help me with the speedskating that I do for fun.
I want to go back to Scotland.
#1… I want to get through January intact—on top of my own job, I am directing two kids in a theater competition, coaching very green cheerleaders for a competition in Feb. and fundraising for a trip to England.
But for the full year, I’d like to restructure and redirect my life, in many areas and get my essential self back in place.
I’m going back to college! I want to do it without having to come home after 7 weeks this time!
@Mariah
You’ll do fine, hon. Just remember “focus, intensity and perseverance” and you’ll do great. ; ))
Move into a smaller place once my mom goes into her own.
Visit out-of-state friends & family.
Wedding anniversay trip.
Christmas with my family at Disneyland.
I don’t do plans and goals just for general purposes. If I have a goal, it arises from a specific need. I find arbitrary goals or plans to be self-defeating. You don’t establish them because you really want them; you do it because it’s the thing to do. Silly.
Not a new year’s thing, but I need to work harder at not drinking, and eventually quit altogether. I haven’t been doing too bad, but I KNOW it could be better. If I accept the process as it is now, it’s not gonna go anywhere, and I’ll eventually just give up and be back at square one. So, my goal is to work harder to make this happen. It’s kinda hard though, when drinking motivates three quarters of anything I do. XD But that I’m getting fed up with it, and that drinking isn’t doing what it used to is a really good incentive and weapon to use. Just gotta keep at it, and stop convincing myself that drinking is a better alternative. The boredom and depressed feelings that come when not drinking for a while are also something else I need to learn how to deal with, so I don’t keep backtracking and slipping up. But it’s a plan, Sam! :D
I plan to live through this year, just to show the Mayans that they were wrong!
Thanks Capt. Hope you make it too.
I will live exactly as long as God wants me to, and not a second longer! : ))
