Do you think this is weird?

In June my dad is going to Germany to see his parents and since I was a child when I last went, I thought I should go and see all my relatives. I’m a 20 y.o. girl with depression and anxiety issues (I’ve had no friends for 3 years) and I’m hoping I can help overcome them with this trip.
So boring details aside, is it strange or have you ever heard of a father going with his adult daughter overseas? Nothing’s ever been “normal” in our family, so just wondering what you think.

Why would it be weird to go on a trip with your dad? I don’t understand.
I’ve never heard of anyone else do it and I guess I’m just insecure about it…
Doesn’t seem strange to me, not at all.
Sounds kinda nice actually. I assume you and dad get along well – yes? This would be a good way to spend time with him, see his home country (as an adult), meet some extended family, enjoy the German culture and food.
Sounds wonderful to me.
amazing race…..great adventure.
Nothing wrong with going on trips with your Dad. Enjoy.
It sounds like a completely normal thing to do. Enjoy!
I cannot understand what could possibly be abnormal about that. Parents and their offspring take vacations together all the time, of all ages.
As long you have seperate beds it’s fine.
I don’t see anything abnormal about family members traveling together. It happens every single day, all over the world.
I see nothing wrong with going on a trip with your father. When I was a senior in high school I went with my father and brother to visit his mother.
I see nothing abnormal about this at all. It sounds like a great experience!
Nothing wrong at all! I was in my early twenties when I went! It will be one of the best memories of your life when you get older!
I don’t see anything wrong in this whatsoever! It’s such a great oppurtunity to spend quality time with your father and to discover your heritage. Gute Reise und mach Spass! (Forgive my bad German lol)
Perfectly normal. Hope u aren’t disappointed.
I used to do stuff with my Dad all the time, some of my most treasured memories are of times alone with my Dad, going places doing stuff. Have a lovely time!
PS: If you go (and I hope you do), please let us know how it went. I’d love an update.
