Where does the wax from a burning candle go?

does it just go into the air?

It gets burnt up, it’s fuel.

It is vaporized by the flame and then burns away.

the energy in the wax is converted into light and heat ass the candle burns

The same place the wood goes when you burn logs: Almost all of the carbon is converted to CO2 and floats away into the atmosphere.
