Is there a way to permanently turn off the "Questions for You" display?

Asked by elbanditoroso (33550points) January 6th, 2012

It’s using some sort of artificial intelligence to decide what I might want to answer, but it is almost 100% wrong. Is there a way to simply make it disappear?

I don’t think there’s a way for you to permanently hide it, but you can just press ‘remove all’ every now and then and you’ll have 0 questions.

You can do what @Luiveton suggested but it places a curse on the rest of your family until the end of time.

@Adirondackwannabe – oh heck, who cares – I am an atheist anyway, so I’ll probably end up in hell anyway.

Here is a quick greasemonkey script that will hide it. You need greasemonkey if you use Firefox but it will work on Chrome without installing greasemonkey. If you use IE or Safari you are out of luck.

It looks like this. Or this script will remove Questions and Activity.

Just ignore it. I’ve been ignoring it for 3 years now without any unwanted side effects.
