Would you help me in a brainstorm?

So, we have a school open day tomorrow morning, and I have been chosen by my English teacher to represent the class. I will be doing a sort of roleplay in which I am Charlie’s mother from ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.’ I will directly interact with a bunch of year 7 children and their parents whilst in my role. I’m supposed to work out some things to say to them, and would love to have some of your ideas on it. I will also be reading some extracts of Roal Dahl’s work, but apart from that, I just need a few opening lines, some sort of back story, if you know what I mean.
