If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours?

At 16? Not many… Ungrateful bratts.
At 67 I don’t think too many would be leading a more satisfying life than I. I still work 3 or 4 days a week, I run 3 to 5 days a week, I swim. My brain still works reasonably well. I have a husband and dogs I love and who love me in return. We have food on the table, a roof over our heads and I ride a motor scooter I really like! What more could I want!
I think I would be leading a more satisfying life than 88 of them. Not because of anything in particular, I’m just content and I live where I want to live and I work enough but not too much and I kinda do what I want and make it work and not many people can say that.
None, I don’t want to ever be satisfied and always be on the search for more. Except in the love department.
I feel like I lead a pretty satisfying life, although I am constantly stressed out and I’m never fully satisfied. For that reason, I would guess maybe sixty/seventy-ish people? That being said, I would rather be my stressed-out, unsatisfied self than someone who is easily satisfied, or someone who is never satisfied with anything. You could say that I’m satisfied with being unsatisfied. ;)
Probably less than 10…. :-D
Well, based on of my current friends/aquaintences I’d say I am the most content of all of them.
In the last 2–3 years almost everyone I know is in some sort of relationship/marriage or mid-life identity crisis. Me? I’m just doin’ my thing and happy to not be in any crisis. lol
Between five and ten I’d guess.
I am healthy and I have a good marriage and four healthy kids. I have a pretty good job. Right there, that’s probably 95% of a person’s happiness (or lack of those things are 95% of a person’s unhappiness.)
Not a lot of financial stress.
100 would be more satisfied than me…
@rooeytoo Well, yay for you! You are an inspiration to me! I have a good job and no worries much financially, but struggle with health issues and other issues to boot…. I am trying to keep a positive attitude. I am grateful for what I do have. I would say, maybe 70, would be more satisified.
Give me a year and ask me again.
