What games should I buy for the Nintendo Wii?

I am a relatively new gamer. I am going to be spending a few months in a rural location with nothing to do in the evenings. I thought the wii might be a good compromise between keeping me occupied and being something energetic I could do in the house.

Which games would you recommend that will get me off my butt and moving around but are also more interesting than your normal wii fit style game. I especially like the idea of a game where you swing the controller around like a sword but reviews for these sorts of games seem to suggest that its not something many games do well.
