I’m in San Diego and need proof of traffic school as well as a fine due February. Can I request extension of due date and or ask for installment plan?

I think you need to contact the clerk of the court. I believe you have to comply if it is a court order. Otherwise you will be in “contempt of court” and could be put in jail or receive additional fines.
@Brian1946 On my paperwork the Fine+Traffic School Requirement seem to be one whole entity of bringing about the proof of traffic school and money owed to the court, is this correct? Or are they two separate entities where I would request a 30day extension to complete traffic school yet still pay a fine? Thanks

As I recall, you still have to pay the fine, even if you complete traffic school. Completing traffic school only means that the ticket doesn’t go on your driving record and cost you points.
