Leftover green chili, what do I make with it?
I have some leftover green chili, it isn’t enough to make a meal, but it is too good to throw away.
I have some pheasant breasts in the freezer that I was going to make into pheasant Kiev or pheasant cordon bleu.
Could I make a pheasant Sonora (my version of pheasant Kiev) with the leftover chili? If I did that would course ground cornmeal with Tex/Mex seasoning make a better breading than the traditional bread crumbs?
What should I serve it with?

Me. Serve it with (to) me. On my way. Rice and a light green (and I mean “light” as in the shade of green) salad as sort of a palate cleanser. Do the cornmeal thing.
Twice baked potatoes.
Gargantuan bloody steaks with the chili as a topper
Get a block of cheddar, make that into some chili con queso.
Add a can of refried beans, heat it all up, sturdy tortilla chips and you have a wonderful chips and dip.
I like the pheasant Sonora too. What time is dinner?
I would make huevos rancheros because I love that dish with green chili and refried black beans.
The pheasant sounds really good too.
I was just reading (here, I think) that bell peppers freeze well… I wonder if you could dice and freeze?
Phesant Sonora sounds great! You’re a more creative cook than I am. I was thinking baked potatoes with chili on top.
I will put finely chopped chili on just about anything.
