Multiple piercings done in one day, is it possible?
I’ve decided that this month I want to have my lip pierced and get an industrial done.
But I was wondering if I can get two piercings done in a day. I’ve Google searched this and most of them said preferably two piercings in a day.
But I’m not sure if mine would count as two since industrial piercing is two holes and plus the lip piercing would be three. So I don’t know, let me know if it would be a good idea or not. Or should I just get one done first then get the other next time.

As long as you are willing to take care of the areas, I don’t see any problem.
Each piercing is medically seen as a possible vector for infection and disease. (It’s known as an ‘insult’ to the body). And there’s over and above the infection question, with each new piercing there is the (low) possibility of hitting a blood vessel by mistake.
A lot of piercing places (which have to be insured to be licensed) don’t want to take on the additional risks of doing multiple piercings per person per day.
I think it would physically be fine, as long as you are prepared for the soreness that comes with it, and you are prepared to take special care of the new piercing sites. What I don’t know is if tattoo/piercing parlors allow multiple piercings in one day. It may depend on the parlor. I’ve had multiple piercings, but never more than one at a time, so I don’t know the policy on that sort of thing.
I had two industrials (left and right) done on one day, with a total of 4 cartilage holes. The piercer didn’t blink.
I generally get two piercings at the same time, saves the trip. I’ve gotten both of my nipples pierced numerous times…and lip and nose…
When I had my cartilage piercing, I mentioned that I might want more in the future, and my technician recommended that I have everything done as once because of the healing time involved. The only issue that I could imagine would be if you developed an infection, there’s potential for more damage.
@Simone_De_Beauvoir Ow. I’ve had multiple facial piercings and didn’t experience any actual “pain”, but I can not imagine how much the nipples would hurt. I’ve got sensitive nips.

Yes, you can get more than one, but the more you get, the greater the body’s demand on healing and fighting infection will be.
Yep. I had my lip done four times in one day, an ear piercing and a lip piercing should be no big deal. The more you want, the more likely someone will ask you to break it up into multiple trips.
I’ve had 4 in one day. Nose, and 3 ear.
Nothing is ever impossible!!!
