What is the weirdest or most random thing you have ever looked up on Wikipedia?
So Wikipedia is on strike for 24 hours because of this whole proposed bill limiting free internet and whatnot (which kudos to all the blackouts going on) but while it’s down I would like to reflect on how much we all love and rely on it.
To start though I need to point out how ironic it is that for all the years of threats from teachers not to use it I now depend on it as my #1 go to for the most random knowledge about everything under the sun. So I want to hear all of the random and strange things you have “Wikied” or seen on Wikipedia while doing a search.
Also (in the spirit of showing appreciation for the sites that are making a statement) feel free to also share the weirdest question you’ve asked on Fluther.

I really like the Dancing Fit of 1584 and the Laughing Fit of 1692 articles. I made up those years because I don’t remember them but somewhere around there. They’re hilarious! And real! There is also a wiki “List of Common Misconceptions” that is endlessly fascinating. I could go on for years.
We used to play a game at work where we pick a random page, and then have to make it to another page (that the opponent names) in a certain amount of clicks. It was fun, trying to go from the queen of england to particle physics in 4 clicks.
I’m not sure what the weirdest thing was, but there is an easy way to get around Wikipedia’s blackout… just don’t use JavaScript on that site!
Anyway, what came to mind is “bidet”. I also checked out stuff that had to do with fashion from before.
I’m in a rush to edit all of this because that thing up top says Fluther will be down in 3 minutes, so please forgive any mistakes!
A historical list of mountain lion attacks in the U.S. and Canada since about 1700 and something.
Duck penises and sexing geese and waterfowl.
Micropenis. It’s tragic when a duck has a bigger penis than a man. lolol
Freddie Adieu (a soccer player for an article I was writing).
Off the top of my head, I’d say balut.
