Cost of a prosthetic eye?

How much would it cost to get a glass eye? and how much for an acrylic one? I dont need one, but I need to know this for a story I am writing for my English GCSE (The main character has a false eye)

According to this article (which provides a very good overview of the process), it costs between $2000 and $5000. That’s for acrylic, which is almost always used these days.
