Well, Michael Vick got the Eagles into the playoffs in 2010, but they were having a not so good season when he got injured this year. So I’d say the results were positive overall.

If you’re talking about the experiment to deGauss a ship, well I think it didn’t work very well.

The Liberty Bell is a great thing to see. And will not disappear to re-appear, in another year.

Tom Hanks got an Academy Award for it, and didn’t get typecast in gay roles afterwards.

It seems that none of us really know what you are talking about. Can you provide a link?

From Wikipedia:

The Philadelphia Experiment is the name of an alleged naval military experiment said to have been carried out at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA sometime around October 28, 1943. It is alleged that the U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Eldridge was to be rendered invisible (or “cloaked”) to enemy devices. The experiment is also referred to as Project Rainbow.

The story is widely regarded as a hoax.[1][2][3]

Those first 3 references debunk the story. Of course people will believe what they want…

It seems there is no way to find out really. Unless real life versions of Mulder and Scully exist. To get an answer based on the movie, well…what happened was very, very bad acting.

The version I heard was they tried to teleport a naval ship with people on board- It came out on the other side engulfed in some strange green gas and all the people were fused into the ship and screaming in agony…but the ship was fine…. No way to prove it but I wouldn’t put it past the military to try such a crazy thing.

Where do you think I got the Orange Tree?

What really happened will be revealed when they try to reproduce the experiment in a Nevada town in the future, and a wormhole appears in the sky, and pieces of the ship start falling out of it…
