Did you ever feel like a raisin at the bottom of the bowl?

There’s a children’s song sung by Tom Paxton and it’s called “I’m a Raisin In a Bowl of Raisin Bran”. I’m wondering if you’ve ever felt like a “raisin at the bottom of the bowl” (interpret it how you will).

We’re all raisins at the bottom of the bowl, and that bowl is in the middle of a tundra.
We are raisins at the bottom of a bowl only if that is how we allow ourselves to be. As you think you are, you are.
No. Never felt like a raisin. I’m not that special.
I’ve never heard the song and don’t know the lyrics but my first thoughts reading your post are, “yeah, I sometimes feel like a little goody found at the bottom of a bowl of plenty.” I’m a late bloomer in almost all aspects of what I thought my life would be, positively though.
I prefer to think of myself as a lightly roasted grape.
You mean plump and juicy. Yep! Whenever I eat an awesome meal followed by some good wine.
I feel like an abandoned raisin that didn’t make it to the bowl while the cereal was pouring. Now I’m on the ground, and the family cat’s being an ass!
That or get drowned in milk, devoured and swallowed and then evacuated in the toilet, what a fate man, what a fate…
@Symbeline That is an extremely amazing way of looking at it! XD
@likipie Thanks. :) Makes me feel better bout being a dropped raisin. :D
