Is this really Adele singing about Newt Gingrich?

Asked by JLeslie (65722points) February 14th, 2012

It sounds like her, but the cameras are sure not to show her lips much. Supposedly it was filmed during a commercial break at he Grammys, but her hair was down at the Grammy awards.

No, it’s not her. It’s a fake.

It has to be fake. If it really happened live, we’d hear laughter or boos from the audience, don’t you think?

Don’t forget The Fugees’ eloquent ode to Newt back in 1996.

I think if Adele wanted to sing anything so overtly political she would have directed it at UK politicians trying to privatise our NHS. It’s blatantly a fake.

Fake, that is not her singing. Why would she care about the US political race? Why would she agree to sing such offensive material?

I’ll bet her attorneys will have that off of youtube pretty fast!

That’s not her voice.

It was created by a production company that specializes in parodies. Just look at the rest of their videos. They’re most well known for this Hey Sarah Palin viral video.
