How often do you read things wrong and get a good laugh from it?
I just had to do a double take on Facebook. I saw a note to the side that said, “So and so likes Tiny Pricks.” I blinked and took a second look, and saw, “So and so likes Tiny Prints.” Phew! Then I was giggling because “So and so” is a hardcore bible thumper, which made my mistake even funnier.
How often do you read things wrong, and when you do, is it usually a mistake that makes you laugh?

I do this often…..no examples at the time, except for tiny prick
OMG there was a period of my life from about July – October of last year, I was doing a ton of traveling (part of it was for a job) and thus driving around the US a whole bunch, and I was constantly CONSTANTLY reading road signs (usually town names) wrong and laughing hysterically at myself. They were always gross or sexual. I don’t know if my mind just reverted to that of a 12 year old boy or what, but it was enjoyable and shocking how often it happened lol.
Oh god, I do this all the time, and I try to point it out to the OP to give them a good giggle. It’s mostly when I’ve been up late and/or my glasses need to be cleaned.
A LOT!!! And too often at work and I start cracking up and people think I’m nuts, so then I have to explain how my twisted mind works lol.
I’m so glad to hear this. I thought it was just my advancing age.
Wait till your hearing starts going. Thats when things get really interesting.
Ever since @ragingloli joined fluther, whenever I looked at her name, I thought it was an Italian food dish and wondered what it was and how to pronounce it. I only recently learned it is actually raging loli, I am not sure what that means either, but at least I can now pronounce it! Pretty silly I know I know!
Not often, but I have had some good laughs as a result of it.
It happens often but it never makes me laugh, I usually just feel like a complete ass.
