I’m creating a poster and corresponding invites for a World Book Night event (yay, I’m a giver!) and I wanted to have a heading along the lines of:
Because reading…. (matters/can take you to places others dream of/is the new black…????????)
Any ideas? :-)

I’d rather reading exacerbated my lexicon than ameliorate it. I don’t see my lexicon as something to be calmed down. In fact, mostly, I’d just like to see it grow.
…sets your imagination in motion.
I get emails everyday for pills that promise to exacerbate my lexicon
