Good bye February…Hello Ma…Oops! It’s Leap Day. Okay, there will be 366 days this year instead of the usual 365; not another year like this for 4 more years. What will you do with that extra 24 hours.
Let’s start by having a good old fashion Fluther Roll Call….
Who’s here?
Who’s not?
Who’s just passing through?
Who’s Lurking?
For those here old and new, check in with a howdy, whatzup, hoo d’ hoo!, etc….. Let the community know how it’s going. Think of this as a Fluther “Hello Day”, where all most a lot of Jellies roaming the Fluther site check in and say hello! <3

I’m still here!
surprise, surprise!
I am avoiding packing for a fun trip to the Caribbean. I probably won’t be around much in the next two weeks unless I can find cheap wifi. :-)
I’m briefly here…I still have guests that I am currently ignoring bad me.
Still here. Though I am not quite sure who I am.
Checking in. I have lots to do at home and for work, so I’ll be checking in throughout the day.
Waves from far away! Here.
Here! Cold stormy day, not feeling too hot, on day 4 of a sinus headache and am at critical mass for hunger, what’s for breakfast? Will someone make me an omelet? lol
I’m here. Waiting to go into a job interview (#2 of 3 for the same gig).
Wish me luck.
Here with a little leap day gift for you. From today’s Writer’s Almanac
Class Picture, 1954
by Billy Collins
I am the third one
from the left in the third row.
The girl I have been in love with
since the 5th grade is just behind me
to the right, the one with the bangs.
The boy who pushes me down
in the playground
is the last one on the left in the top row.
And my friend Paul is the second one
in the second row, the one
with his collar sticking out, next to the teacher.
But that’s not all—
if you look carefully you can see
our house in the background
with its porch and its brick chimney
and up in the clouds
you can see the faces of my parents,
and over there, off to the side,
Superman is balancing
a green car over his head with one hand.
@augustlan Yes! I’m ready and waiting, Mistress. With chocolates and rum.
Hi to all. Thanks for stopping by.:-)
@cprevite good luck. Let us know the outcome. I have a 2nd interview next week and hope it goes well too.
Here with my “Leap of Faith!”
I’m here… but shouldn’t be. I have to finish this project!
Here until it’s time for classes in the evening :)
::stumbles in drunk::
Here I am, kiddies!
What a freaking fun free day
Blah-de-blah-de-blah-blah.
Here and lurking, as per usual. :-)
I’m here, the day is nearly over. One of my favourite colleagues retired today so it was a bit of an emotional day at work. After work I went out for a meal and drinks with friends. All in all, a good day.
Here but it’s the first of the month. I did log in yesterday but didn’t get to answer many questions.
Pinch and a punch for the first of the month!! I think I am first :D
So… who is getting married? Any ladies propose?
Over here! <Leaping up and down in honor of the day.>
:-) Well since your post is followed by a smile… I am guessing he said YES! So when was the wedding?
We eloped to Vegas for leap day nuptuals 8 yrs ago. We had our reception on Memorial Day. So easy for family to remember…and me. we’ve been together almost double that
How lovely @SpatzieLover. Do you celebrate on the 28th or the 1st each year or only have leap year celebrations?
Since we can’t really rely on a babysitter for a set date, we keep it open on. This year we’re really celebrating it on the weekend. Tonight it appears that Chinese take out will be our celebratory dinner.
Yippee!
HERE HERE! (said like a founding father)
Hi, everybody! Isn’t it March that comes in like a lion? Has anybody seen one?
@SpatzieLover Jesus, those things are nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s like looking at the universe, or something on the cellular level, or something totally out of this world.
I think I’d pee my wet suit if I saw one!
I’m in the “left” time zone.
And a little late to the party. . . .
Hey @AmWiser, best of luck to you too on the job.
UPDATE: I had two interviews today. One with five other chairs, and one with five of the faculty – for a total of a three hour interview. They both went well I think. Thank you all for the good luck. :^)
I’m here, but still crying about the death of my first crush, Davy Jones : (
What’s more disgusting than a pile of dead babies?

The live one at the bottom, chewing his way out.

Oh yeah, I’m here.
Here and most definitely queer.
@SpatzieLover I Love it! But did it roar? No-o-o-o. It’s a jelly lion. Much as a jelly may try to roar, it can never match the sound of a mammal lion roaring through the forest.
Late, but here! School’s been keeping me really busy. But spring break starts tomorrow!
So happy to see you, Mariah!
Aw, thanks hon! Happy to see you too :)
Lurking a little, (life’s somewhat overtaken me at the mo) but still here, in spirit if not in words :-)
I wasn’t here yesterday on LEAP DAY, but I am back today-on World Complement Day!
Here, but I’m posting from my PlayStation 3. This sentence took like, 14 years to type.
Holy shit… you mean… I’m actually 46 now?
Shit…sorry bout that. this one only took 8 years XD
A day late, but I found this. So, lurking, I guess.
G’day Mates, I am here at the other end of the country now but still in the Antipodes!
This response will get 6 GA’s.
Wiley little coyotes you are. lol
I miss our own little coyote….
This response will get zero GA’s.
I’m afraid you are right….;-)
Thursday morning here. Sitting in my jammies with coffee waiting on my gardener buddy.
In serious need of a mowjob and a blowjob. lol
10:29 am Friday on the west coast..Coloma goes party shopping for the beer and cheese and birthday dinner party tomorrow. Today is a near fast day so I can feast tomorrow.
I am making grilled ham & cheese sandwiches with avocado and grilled peppers, deviled eggs, cucumber salad and cake, after the 8 varieties of cheeses and beers. I can’t WAIT! :-D
But tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo. No Mexican? Not even Corona?
Here… a year older as of last Thursday, but only a day older than the one before :-)
@Judi It’s a combo, beer & cheese and birthday party, guess we could toss in Cinco de Mayo too, why not?
Aqui. Happy Cinco de Mayo, all. Belated Happy Birthday, Harple! I’m off to Paris (France, not Texas) in a few hours.
@picante Have fun! eat some french pastries for me! :-)
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Free chocolate and rum for all jellies! Help yourselves to my stash; it’s hidden in [REDACTED]
@picante Thank you! Ooh, if you fancy popping over to the North of England (as you do) we could go for a coffee?!
Chocolate and Rum?!? Did someone say chocolate and rum??
I wonder if you could actually get drunk if you ate like, tons of those alcohol filled chocolates. I kinda doubt it, but I’d test it out lol.
A super sweet jelly sent me some of those for Christmas, but they never got me drunk. I ate a whole lot of them at one time, and had the teeniest feeling of being buzzed, but that was it.
So you’d have to eat like, twelve boxes…haha. That’s cool that someone sent you those. :)
Yep, the Grand Marnier ones were my favorite.
