When this man bites the dust, I’ll be awfully sad.

Dogs is one of my all-time favorites. I think of it as the perfect distillation of what Pink Floyd does best. An experimental, atypically structured rock song with some of the best guitar solos known to man.
Another Brick in the Wall. Brings back old times. The parties where we’d all be shouting “we don’t need no education” at the top of our lungs and pumping our fists in the air.
Gilmour demonstrates the lick from that tune here.
Dave’s guitar solo in Time, is one of my all-time favorites.
Everything from “The Wall” is just great. First album I ever bought.
^ I know, right? So hard to pick just one.
@marinelife- That’s a Roger Waters composition.
@wundayatta- Same thing goes for Another Brick In The Wall.
I think my favorite is Comfortably Numb which he co-wrote with Waters.
I’ve always very much liked Wish You Were Here, the song however, the album is just tops because it was actually written in mutual feeling and mutual friendship. It shows a true balance between Waters and Gilmour, and is all the more touching as a result.
My favorite David Gilmore song? I am the Walrus.
edit: My mistake Gilmour.
@AstroChuck The question said it could be Pink Floyd, as well. Or at least, that’s how I interpreted the slash.
@wundayatta I was leaning more towards individual stuff by Gilmour or music that he had written for PF.
Wish You Were Here is the best Pink Floyd song, hands down.
@Jude If I woulda knew that, I woulda kept my fingers still. Sorry about that.
@marinelife @wundayatta-
After rereading this thread I think I come off as a bit of a nitpicking ass. Sorry. My intentions were not how they appear.
@AstroChuck Was that just this thread, or every thread you ever contributed to?
