My wife is a working mom who is going to (nursing) school. I think you might have a difficult time with this one because in order to write (or read) a blog it takes time – something working moms who are going to school don’t have much or any of.
We don’t do homework. Start by googling your phrase “Blogs in USA by working moms who are also going to college”. That will give you some leads.
Hey tom_g I guess you are very right about the fact that working moms hardly have time for anything, let alone reading and writing, but then you might be surprised to know that there is a whole community of such moms… what’s more… they say they do some fun activities in their spare time!!! Only God knows what “spare time” means. Anyways, at this particular instance the real challenge was “also going to college”!!!
Hey marinelife… I thought that this section is for help, now help can be in anything. Anyways, it wasn’t for homework!!! I’ll keep this in mind for the next time though and I have some experience of googling things… the search term you have indicated won’t yield you anything.
@coolmailraj Unfortunately, there are two reasons your search is likely to be a bust. The first has already been mentioned by @tom_g. The second is that there are a whole lot of social sites for working mothers, college mothers, and working college mothers that compete for the small amount of time the women in question have to spend online. Since those sites offer help and advice in return, whereas blogging is often an essentially solipsistic affair, it’s going to be very difficult to find even one working mother college blog, let alone twenty of them. Sorry!
@marinelife The homework policy does not say that you cannot ask for help. In fact it says quite the opposite:
Feel free to ask for help on your subject, but simply posting your homework question verbatim and expecting an answer is rude!
Now, @coolmailraj has already told us that this isn’t homework; but even if it had been, the question does not seem to violate the policy.
@SavoirFaire “For an assignment I need a list of Blogs in USA by working moms who are also going to college! I am seeking 20 such blogs. Any suggestions, reference and answers”
@marinelife Yes, that is a direct quote from the OP. Your point? It could be an assignment from an employer, for instance, and @coolmailraj told us in this post that it is not a homework assignment. Ultimately, though, it doesn’t matter. Homework questions are not forbidden, despite the fact that many members like to act as if they are.
There are a few hundred working mom blogs listed on the Working Mother magazine site. some of these are written by moms also juggling college
Hi there, welcome to Fluther, you seem to be a bit new, so just as a preface, you should try to phrase what you ask as a question (it should end with ? instead of ! ). Just a helpful hint (especially if you’re posting in general instead of social).
Also, you might not always get a quick response by saying “I need this quick!” , so give us all plenty of time to help you out!
Sorry, that’s the end of my lecture. Anywho, there’s actually a huge network for this, with a few notable moms championing the cause and perpetuating the network. I think a simple Google search might be quicker for you.
Also, head over to Blogspot and find one such blog like this. From just one blog, you can follow links, tags, and other followers to plenty more like it. Good luck
