It seems like Chinglawyerish.
I believe that what it means is that an “alleged” bad product has to be shipped back to the manufacturer or to an agent that the manufacturer names in order to be “certified” as nonconforming or defective.
If you think the product is defective, send it back to whomever sent it to you (or to whomever else XXX may tell you to send it). Make sure that you send a note describing the problem (either before you send the product, or along with it).
What is the meaning of “having shipped the Product to Customer”. Who send to whom and when ? Why to send to Customer?
If you have a defective product, write an explanation of the defect and ship the product back to the company that it came from.
Ah, good point. I revise my earlier answer.
The product is to be returned to the seller or the seller’s agent, not the manufacturer. (I made an unwarranted assumption because of the business practices I’m more familiar with.)
And ‘unwarranted’ was a completely innocent pun. Stet.
@rmoses1 They’re assuming that you bought the product from some distributor, who then shipped it to you. They’re telling you that you should send it back to that company that shipped it to you. In other words, look at the return address on the shipping box and send it back there.
Thanks. That was a tough one. Reuven
Seriously. Engineers and lawyers should never be allowed to write text meant for the general public.
