How long did it take you to get back your claim using the VA's BDD program?

I haven’t had any opportunity to talk to anyone that has used this program. I’ve been in the decision phase since January 5th this year. I was wondering if there are any military veterans out there that have experience with this program (Benefits Due Delivery-BDD)? How long did everything take to complete?

I’ve never heard it called BDD (it could have been called that but I’m not much of a paperwork guy). If you’re referring to disability, I began getting mine within 6 months (probably more like 3) of doing the physical.
I have just started the process. You get to start 180 days out from actual end of active dury service. I know of one person that has used this program. The last time I talked to him he had been retired for 8 months and still has not received back his compensation percentage.
I have had my first claim appointment, but new information has been revealed and I wont be retiring when I originally thought, so my BDD is derailed for now.
