Ladies: What are your rules and preferences for men wearing baseball caps?
Front facing, never backwards? Brim curved or straight? Never at a certain place or time? Do you care what’s on the hat – logos/print?

I don’t care for the backwards look, and am not a fan of baseball caps in general, for men or women.
I love a man in a baseball cap. No rules or regulations, just wear it!
I don’t mind guys wearing baseball caps… but I don’t like the straight brims. As for the logo, I don’t really care… and I don’t mind if it’s sideways, front ways or worn bankwards. The colour has to be decent though. I wouldn’t like it if a guy wore a bright orange cap.
I don’t really like them. They flatten out hair.
Baseball caps are nice. Maybe I like them because hubby has many. I like the way he forms his brims. I’m not crazy about the backward look and also don’t care for baseball caps at formal or special occasions.
Don’t wear one unless you are playing baseball.
I like them as long as they aren’t sideways. There is no good excuse to wear it that way. It just looks silly.
My husband wears one for his bald head to keep his head from getting a sunburn. I think it looks good on him. It also helps to keep flies and mosquitoes off his head. I’ve been tempted to wear one when I’m outside for these reasons, and to help keep those fly away hairs from getting in my mouth and eyes when it’s windy outside. sometimes the ponytail can’t keep all hairs secure
If you’re wearing it straight forward, you look cute. If you’re wearing it backwards or cocked to the side, you look like a douche.
Ahh, just imagine a strong, rugged man wearing a worn out baseball cap from his favorite team. Now that’s hot.
I like a straight crispy hat on someone who wears it well. It can be super hot. Backwards, usually a big HELL NO.
No baseball caps unless playing baseball.
I hate baseball caps. I remember when they started becoming poplar in the mid ‘70’s and I hated them then. I feel like they make the wearer look immature and unattractive, but, that is only my opinion.
Never, ever, ever straight brimmed or cocked to the side. EWWW.
Just hanging out, getting groceries or coffee, going for a run, go ahead. Eating indoors or on a date? OFF.
I personally don’t like them and would rather not see them on a man. The only occasion that one would legitimately wear one would be playing baseball, or softball, I guess.
Cocked to the side is right out if you are above the age of 9. If I see a “man” wearing a hat like that I’ve already judged him and decided that neither of us has anything to say to the other.
I can usually track back to the source of my dislikes, but I honestly don’t know where the antipathy comes from in this case.
I think the habit of adults wearing them came into its own during the Magnum P.I. days. The same with mustaches. Up until then you rarely saw an adult of either gender wearing them and facial hair was an exception instead of the rule.
That said, I and my husband often wear them. For the reasons @jonsblond noted above. And as a couple others have said, I really don’t like the straight brim look. It for some reason looks like they are wearing a kettle on their heads??? John Isner looks great in his! Too bad Roger smothered him today.
