Chickflicks?

Asked by DeezerQueue (2022points) May 25th, 2008

Do guys secretly like them?

I searched back about ten pages worth, and hope it wasn’t asked previously, if so, can someone please flag it as duplicate?

I really liked “The Bridges of Madison County” and “The Notebook.”
I also like to shop and I enjoy musical theatre. Anyone have a problem with that?

i only watched mean girls because of my brest obsession, i realy don’t like those movies, they don’t realy get to me

I must admit. I have liked a few but will not go out of my way to see one.

I’ll watch them to humor my girlfriend, but a lot of times I get distracted part way through since nothing is blowing up or whatever. A good story always makes for an enjoyable movie, but generally the male experience (or at least my experience) is an exercise in filtering out everything that’s “irrelevant” (i.e. most of the movie).

Let me tell you….. My hard core, tough cop husband totally teared up at the end of “the notebook”

I believe if the movie has hot chicks in it, they like it LOL

Steel Magnolias is an awesome chick flick!

I can sometimes get my husband to watch with me, but they would not be his choice. He does love (as do I) screwball comedies from the 40s.

Fried Green Tomatoes is my favorite…why aren’t there more chick-centric buddy films that don’t involve like, pregnancy or shoes?

or yaya sisterhoods of traveling pants?

I’m for it. Women are more interesting that that.

“Steel Magnolias” was even too chick flick for me, and that’s saying something. I mean I swear that sometimes I get cramps during my wife’s special time.
