Are there people that collect old DOS programs? How do you find them?

I am in the process of moving and I have unearthed a bunch of old DOS based games and programs. Are there people that might be interested in these or should they land in the “dispose/ recycle” pile?

There’s definitely an “abandonware” following. Many games have been stored in online repositories for free download and play using an emulator. Unless you have a game that never made it to the storage vault, I’d probably chuck them.

My Dad (Mechanical Engineer and Comp. Engineer) my brother (network and systems analysts) and myself (geek) love to take out our Vic 20 or Old Epson Equity II with its whopping 10 meg. hd and play the old dos games. Very nostolgic.
