After his master had been deployed for 8 months, Chuck the boxer reunites with his owner. If this isn’t unconditional love, I’m the Dali Lama and Mae West in one person.

Love it! Too bad his G/F or wife didn’t get to welcome him first!
I love dogs! And I love that when my dog was younger she greeted me like this after leaving the house for an hour!
@chyna I’d fear for his S/O’s safety at that particular moment is she dared get in the way of Chuck the Boxer’s expression of love. You can hear here tearing up as she films it all. I am certain they had their own time together soon enough.
@Ponderer983 I’ve had dogs and cats. Right now, Spoony THE Cat is queen of the household. You have to work at winning a cat’s affection, but if you ever do, they show it in very subtle ways. They aren’t demonstrative like the canines are. But Spoony shows she loves us in profound ways that touch my heart just as deeply as that open display. Now my last dog, a Belgian Shepherd named Arwin (re-dubbed R1 by the neighborhood kids who couldn’t quite duplicate her unusual name, would have knocked me over like Chuck the Boxer did and licked my face till I had to head for a shower. :-)
i don’t need to watch the video to know that such a thing exists.
@King_Pariah Great Answer. To which I say, watch it. It will warm your heart.
Yes. When my dog was younger she’d greet me like that if I was away just a few hours.
It reminds me of Christian the Lion
No one who has ever owned a good dog could ever have doubted the unconditional love they give. It’s probably why I like most dogs better than most people.
Not so sure about the unconditional love angle. It could be that the dog is expecting all the treats his master failed to give him all those past months. Arf!
Awwww…yes, animals are pure unconditional love no doubt!
@downtide When it comes to Lions, you want to be very certain that they love you as a persopn and not as a main course.
@rooeytoo That’s certainly true for me.
@mazingerz88 In the case of my pets, they made it abundantly clear their love was for us, and not just what we could offer in the way of treats.
@Coloma Amen!
