How would explain colors to a blind person?

Yeah, colours are likened to moods/emotions, which makes a lot of sense.
I’d use the other senses…Warm, cool. Low, high. Spicy, sweet. Musky, flowery.
I was also thinking along the same lines as @janedelila. I would use things like temperature, taste, smell.
Red and orange are hot, vibrant colours.
Pink is more like a sweet lolly.
Some greens and browns have an earthiness to them. So the smell of soil or leaves.
Associate foods, smells, and tastes with it. So pink would be lollipop, sweet, and cotton candy-y maybe.
Just a thought.
