Has anyone had an upper cervical adjustment done by a NUCCA Chiropractor? Did you get 100% better? How long did it take to recover?

My first mistake, back in 70s after an accidental fall, was first going to a chiroprator, to adjust my lower back. I felt pretty good for a week or so and then all hell broke loose. I got to the point where I could not put one foot in front of the other. The pain was a 12 on a one to ten number scale.

Wife took me to the ER at Vanderbilt Hospital and surgery was performed that afternoon.

Did the chiropractor contribute to my back problem? I asked this question back then, but no seemed to want to become involved, stating it was the chiropractors fault.

I would never let a chiropractor manipulate my spine ever again.

I am still paying for his actions today.
