How to make fried pickles?
I just went to texas road house, and they had amazing fried pickles. They were deep fried, breaded dill pickle slices. Does anyone know how you would make them? Ideas, anyone; recipes?

I love fried dill pickles. There are oodles of recipes on the internet. My vote would be for one that doesn’t include spices and hot sauce. Here is one. The additional flavorings compete with the taste of the dill pickle.
I personally prefer them in chip form rather than spears, as it is easier to pop a whole chip in my mouth rather than the messy business of munching on a spear.
I have heard of these wonderful sounding things, but I have yet to taste them or make them. Hopefully I will change that situation soon.
In the meantime, here is a recipe for fried pickles that uses Fine Cornmeal and Cajun Seasonings
Here is one that sounds more like the type of batter used on onion rings, Beer Battered Fried Pickles but you’ll probably have to get your folks permission and assistance with this particular recipe (and note that you can probably use non-alcoholic beer if your parents prefer).
And here’s an authentic recipe for Texas-style Fried Pickles that uses crushed Saltine crackers and buttermilk.
For all of the recipes, if you don’t have a deep fryer, just use a lot of caution when deep frying in a skillet. Here are some tips about deep frying in a skillet
Slice them and roll in a flour/cornmeal 50/50 mix then fry in canola oil. We used to eat them at a restaurant called Cock of the Walk in Natchez, Mississippi back in the 70s.
Next time you are in Texas Roadhouse ask if they will give you their recipe.
Start out by ingesting massive amounts of LSD.
start with pickles, flour and oil.
roll the pickles in flour, the dump into oil.
when the pickles are brown, thrown them into the trash and eat some banana chips.
season with creole seasoning (or whatever you want)
flour
drench in buttermilk
flour again
fry
ENJOY!!!
