When is the last time you got sick (puking) from drinking too much?

I just came from a family function. My family drinks a lot of wine. I am not a big drinker, and had one glass. A friend of mine attended this family function and she got drunker than I realized. I drove her home and she puked in my car. I am not talking about a young adult, I am talking about a professional woman in her late 50’s. I’m not mad – I look at it like these things happen. On the way home (as she was sleeping it off and I was immersed in my thoughts) I was trying to remember when’s the last time I got so drunk that I puked. I remember occasions when I was young but I can’t remember the last time. Maybe 15 years ago? I am not sure.

I’m pretty sure it’s about to happen to me tonight.
Age 32. I think I got sick sometime between when the paraplegic guy said my jeans are stuck on the handicap van lift and you are gonna have to take my pants off, and my wife said why are there a bunch of drunken assholes on the couch?
That would be many decades ago. Not a good feeling. I learned from it.
@gailcalled I had a friend who was paraplegic, almost quadriplegic-ally disabled. He had an over sized van. He agreed to be designated driver. We had such a good time he ended up drinking himself a little. Later, when we were trying to get him into his van, the mechanism to lift his wheel chair into the vehicle caught on his pants.
We ended up having to remove his pants to get him into the vehicle. Everybody slept at my house, much to my wife’s chagrin.
I guess it was sometime in college. Long long ago.
Less than a year ago. It was really hot in Memphis, and I drank too much ice water in an attempt to cool off. Never again.
If you mean alcohol, which seems likely, it was shortly after college. My much older brother invited me to join him and some of his co-workers for dinner. The meal was preceded by several several rounds of drinks. By the time the meal came out, I knew something was wrong. I threw up all over the inside of his beloved, new BMW on the way home.
It’s only happened to me once, and I drink rather often.
It’s been a while. By a while I mean probably since November. Maybe October. I am a champ at preparing to get drunk and not be hungover.
I have only been sick from drinking 3 times in my life. A 35 year span, and the last time was 4 months ago. lol
I had a craving for bloody marys, bought a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka, what else, haha and, they were SO amazingly delicious that I was pouring them, most likely, at triple shots while engaged in a zippy discussion with a friend on the phone. Next thing I knew I went form completely coherent to throwing up over my deck rail into the woods. lolol
I think it was the celery, tomatoes and spicy string beans that lured me into the over indulgence. haha
Well…got THAT out of my system for another 20 years.
I can’t remember the last time. It would have to have been maybe 30 years ago, give or take a couple of years in either direction. Vomiting is one of my very least favorite things in the world.

About five years ago, give or take. Went to this party after work, organized by this girl who worked with us. We played a game of ’‘Fuckall’’. It includes cards, and drinking a swig everytime you mess up. So, the drunker you get, the more you mess up. I didn’t drink much back then, so I got all fucked. Some guy went to take a piss in the toilet, and he somehow clogged it, so it all emptied itself everywhere. It was pretty gross, but I felt so sick so I went to the toilet, and the ground was all wet. I puked like a raging maniac. Then I crawled off to the couch and laid there. People were still playing cards, some laughing at me lol.
So when it was over, the host came to wake me up, saying it was time to go home. I sorta slurred at her, asking if I could sleep there. So she let me, and brought me a pillow and blanket…and a pale to puke in lmao. I woke up about eight in the morning, and decided to leave. Left a sorry/thank you note on the table and walked off with a hangover in the freezing Winter. Thing is, I had to go to work…but it was an evening shift, so that helped a hell of a lot. Went back to sleep when I got home, and felt fine when I got up hours later for work. I was dating this guy back then who got all mad that I didn’t phone him so he could come pick me up. I thought about it, but I felt too damn sick to do anything but lay there and wait to die. XD
That’s the last time I got sick from drinking, although it isn’t the only episode where I ended up puking everywhere.
Also, puking sucks and I don’t like it.
Maybe 32 years ago while in the army. From sloe gin. It was still red…with other stuff. In the winter ,steam rising off it. Sloe gin is crap.
@woodcutter I had sloe gin once. I thought it was disgusting and I think it did end up making me feel kind of toxic and sick, even if it didn’t make me throw up.
Maybe 7 years ago? Prior to that, the last time was when I was 19. I didn’t drink at all after the 19 year old incident until I was about 35. Shortly after I was able to enjoy alcohol again, I drank on an empty stomach. I felt like I was going to be sick, so I shoved the first food I could find in my mouth: a cookie. Bad choice. Bad.

At least 3 years ago maybe even further back than that, it was at a friend’s leaving party and i had a fair amount of champagne! For the past couple of years I have probably had one alcoholic drink every 6 months or so.
Never. Over the years I had a few burps that had company but never let go a gusher.
New Year’s. I didn’t go out til 11:30 and wanted to be buzzed by midnight, and I hit the booze a bit harder than I meant to. Shots always throw me off on figuring out how drunk I’m getting.

Once, in high school – about 25 years ago. Probably the last time I was ever drunk too.
Never, but that’s not because I didn’t ever drink too much.
Never. And there was only once in my life that I wished that I could have, just to get rid of whatever was left in there making me feel sick.
Never. I don’t see the need to drink so much.
Shamefully, I think it was after I guzzled too much vodka after my daughter’s soccer game about 2009. I don’t drink anymore.
2009. That was my last year of “drinking badly”.
Erm, I had a “poorly burp” into my bib when mummy was winding me, milkies went down the wrong hole see.
I believe I was around 17/18…........just a little baba at the time.
@Symbeline Oh it meant alcoholic drink, silly me didn’t think straight.
Probably about five or six years ago.
